Brendon LeCount is a programmer, game developer, writer and engineer living in Northern California. He studied mechanical engineering at California Polytechnic State University, and went on to work as a project engineer in the field of bulk solids handling consulting. He began publishing mods for Bethesda role-playing games in 2009, and has since produced approximately 40 titles with over a million total downloads. Highlights include the hunger/thirst/sleep simulator Imp's More Complex Needs, the Fallout power armor overhaul Powered Power Armor, and the quest Dunk's Adventure.
His standalone projects include G-Cruiser, a hoverboard racing simulator built using the Unity engine; More Complex Metabolism Simulator, a standalone diet and excersize simulator also built using the Unity engine; Stem, a novel and game concept detailing an overwhelming alien invasion; and Cetacea, a game that simulates life as a dolphin.
After graduating from UC Santa Cruz's Games and Playable Media M.S. program, Brendon began developing The HoverCrafter, a flying car racing and crafting game made for PC using the Unreal Engine. A demo is planned for release on Steam in summer of 2021.
Apart from gaming and game development, Brendon enjoys reading, cycling, swimming, snowboarding, and nutrition.
